"LYF" Ministriespronounced "life" is an acronym for Love Yourself First. This is a mobile and multi-platform teaching ministry that is focused on promoting emotional wellness with a concentration on Self-Love. I believe that self-love is the radius or center point that determines what we will experience and attract into our lives.
When we perceive ourselves as being separate from Love, we are broken. Out of such deficiency you will find Self and Love divided; working tirelessly against the best interest of its counterpart. Self working from a place of ego and Love from an awareness of lack; both expressing and attracting dysfunction. This type of life is exhausting, unproductive, and feeds the cycle of hurt and pain. The diagram below is LYF Ministries interpretation of what that division looks like and consequently what is expressed, experienced, and attracted in such cases. I would say the ultimate goal is to move from searching for Love to having Love and from having Love to Being Love!
Notice some of the Self-traits above at first glance don't appear to be very problematic. But be careful; take a good look and see where insecurities, ego, or fears may be hiding beneath things like Selflessness, Self-Reliance, and Self-Preservation. Below are the gifts that we express, experience, and attract when our Self-Love radius is whole and well attended.
